“ Wanted Thai food but on superbowl Sunday almost all restaurants were closed. We found Kyoto open and it was awesome. They had sake on tap, delightful menu, great food. Plan to go back. ”

“ My wife and I have been coming to Kyoto for a couple of years now and, although I seldom write reviews, I have to say this place is outstanding. We usually come her for lunch and the food is consistently excellent as is the service. We love the fresh summer rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce and my wife usually gets the red curry. The Bento Box is excellent for a lunch item and the sushi is always tasty. I think this place gets my highest praise for an all around outstanding dining experience. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. ”
“ This little gem doesn't stand out from a quick drive by but once you enter you know you're in for a treat. The ambience is warm and inviting, the staff just as warm and friendly. Had the miso soup with was one the best I've had. Had two rolls of sushi; hot lips and green hornet. Both beautifully presented and had a taste to match. My wife had the sizzling stone pot with steak and chicken. Both tender and flavorful. The restaurant is still new and they are presently waiting on their liquor license (was looking forward to a Saporro). I don't live around here but will most definitely be coming back. ”

It’s not a great place for a fast meal (which isn’t bad) partly because they definitely emphasize presentation and execution. The firecracker roll is great, the edamame with garlic is great. Definitely recommend ”
